Top 5 Allergen Free Chocolate Picks
Today is National Chocolate Day, and I’m celebrating by sharing my top five favorite allergen-free chocolates!
Vermont Nut Free:Â After finding it difficult to find safe chocolate that wasn’t made in the same factory as nut products for her peanut allergic son, Gaill Elvidge took matters into her own hands and began making her own nut-free chocolate. After finding success with her small batch chocolates, she officially started the company Vermont Nut Free Chocolates, which are made in a facility that is 100% peanut-free and tree nut-free. Their line of products is extensive, and includes gourmet chocolate truffles, fruit creams, mint creams, caramels, raisin clusters, and chocolate bars. Sold in a variety of physical locations, or available on-line, Vermont Nut Chocolates aren’t only for those with a nut-allergy, they can be enjoyed by all chocolate lovers.
